Canada Greener Homes Loan
To apply for a loan, you must first be eligible for and apply for the Canada Greener Homes Grant.
The loan will be given to you once the renovation work is completed; it is important to be approved before the work.

CANADIAN INITIATIVE FOR GREEN HOUSES
This subsidy from the federal government is supported by a provincial government program called Réno-Climat. The participant must contact Réno-Climat before installing the system because an inspector must go to the participant’s home before installation to carry out an energy assessment. Following the installation of the new system, the participant must also contact Réné-Climat because the inspector must return to visit their home.
Complete central system including a heat pump and a furnace ($5000)
Wall-mounted heat pump with one indoor unit per floor including the basement ($2500 or $5000)

City of laval
Participants who live in the city of Laval are entitled to financial assistance for a single-family home when they convert their oil heating system to an entirely electric system or one using renewable energy.
